Fractures
The Issue with this world.
A Fracture is a break in space and time.
They often appear as cracks in the air, with a sort of pressure surrounding them. Fractures come with a variety of different monsters and enemies inside. Some of them can be defeated with the simple throw of a coin, and some needing large armies to defeat it.
Classifications
Fractures are classified in up to 7 danger levels, with the same terminology as any other danger classified thing. Below are the most dangerous, 1 being the most dangerous.
1. Catastrophic: When a fracture is considered catastrophic, all council members, except one voted upon, must come together with their full armies to defeat it. When a fracture is catastrophic, many lives are lost.
2. Extreme: When a fracture is considered extreme, 1-2 council members are sent, as well as their armies, to close the fracture.
3. Severe: When a fracture is considered severe, the governing councilor of the land the fracture is on may send however many squads they wish to defeat it. Oftentimes, they still need to send most of their army.
4. High: When a fracture is considered high difficulty, a squad of specialized hunters is often deployed, with them being able to defeat the entire fracture.
5. Moderate: When a fracture is considered moderate difficulty, most local governments deploy small squads to close it.
6. Low: When a fracture is considered low difficulty, 3-5 hunters can be sent in to close it.
7. Unknown: When a fracture is "Unknown", it's far too powerful or far too weak to decide who or what to send. Small governments often send scouts to see its difficulty. If nobody returns from scouting, it's considered a very powerful fracture, in which every available catastrophic grade hunter is sent.
